GREAT WINES COME FROM GREAT GRAPES
Our grapes are planted, nurtured and harvested by a select group of dedicated Washington state growers with whom we share a mutual respect, a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to caring for our people and our planet. Our grower partners, many of whom we have farmed alongside for years, have come to count on the Powers Winery for sound judgment, fiscal stability, and superb wines that enhance vineyard distinction.
From the sun drenched Wahluke Slope appellation we work with Butch and Jerry Milbrandt of Milbrandt Vineyards, and Mike Roskamp who oversees Cougar and Coyote Vineyards. In Horse Heaven Hills we partner with Paul Champoux in Champoux Vineyards, LLC, and from the Yakima Valley AVA, we source fruit from Scott Greer of Sheridan Vineyard and Harold Pleasant of Harold Pleasant Vineyard. In our home appellation of Columbia Valley, we work with the Monson family of Goose Ridge Vineyard and Mike Taggares of Tagaris Vineyard; we also source fruit from Mike’s organically grown Arete Vineyard.
In our efforts to keep our wines fresh and innovative we also continually source new vineyards to take the fullest advantage of the diverse Washington state microclimates. Below is information about our current grower partners.
